Frequently asked questions

Thinking about joining the Escape? Here are a few things you might want to know first. If I’ve missed anything, just get in touch — I’m always happy to chat.

Do I need to be super fit?

Absolutely not. This isn't a bootcamp. You should be comfortable being active, but the training will work for different fitness levels and can be adapted where needed.

The point is to move, challenge yourself a little and enjoy it — not spend five days trying to survive.

Can I come with friends?

Please do! Escape is all about bringing women together, so come with a friend, sister, gym buddy — or get a little group together.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely! You don't need to know everyone before you arrive. With training, trips, breakfasts, evenings and plenty of downtime together, you'll have lots of opportunities to get to know the rest of the group very soon.

What exactly is included?

Your Escape includes 6 days / 5 nights at our private finca near Santa Pola, accommodation, breakfast, daily strength & conditioning sessions and the organised activities and experiences included in the itinerary.

We'll also have a proper Spanish paella night together.

Some meals, drinks and optional activities aren't included — deliberately. I want you to have the freedom to go out, try local places and do your own thing too.

What about food?

Breakfast is included each morning and we'll have an included paella night.

For the rest, you'll have the freedom to eat out, discover local places and choose what you actually fancy. This isn't a diet retreat and there won't be a prescribed meal plan.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes — please arrange suitable travel insurance. Make sure the policy is appropriate for your trip and the activities you'll be taking part in.

How many women will be on the Escape?

We like to keep our groups small and personal. We've found that 8–12 women is just right, enough people to create a great atmosphere and meet new faces, but still small enough that everyone actually gets to know each other.

Are flights included?

No. You'll arrange and pay for your own flights, which means you can choose the airport, airline and timings that suit you rather than being tied to a package flight.

The nearest airport is Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport (ALC).

What will we actually be doing?

Think active holiday rather than fitness camp.

We'll train, explore the area, walk and hike, visit the Mar Menor mud baths, have a flamenco evening, enjoy a paella night and make the most of being in Spain.

There'll also be free time. You absolutely do not need an activity planned for every waking minute — there's a pool for a reason.

Do I have to join everything?

No. I'd love you to get involved and make the most of the Escape, but you're still on holiday.

If one morning you'd rather have a slower start, sit by the pool or skip something, that's absolutely fine. This isn't school and nobody is taking attendance.

What are the rooms like?

The finca has bright, simple Mediterranean-style rooms, mostly set up for sharing.

I'll make the room arrangements really clear before booking, so you'll know exactly what you're booking and who you'll be sharing with where applicable

What should I pack?

Think active holiday in Spain: trainers, comfortable workout clothes, swimwear, something suitable for walking, sun protection and clothes for evenings out.

You'll receive proper pre-trip information before we go, so you won't have to guess what you need.

What happens after I enquire?

Send me your details through the enquiry form and I'll get back to you personally with the next steps and anything else you'd like to know.

Can I have a room to myself?

Yes. The standard price is based on two women sharing a twin room, but if you'd prefer a room all to yourself, that's absolutely possible for an additional supplement.

Still have a question?

If there's something I haven't covered, just ask.

I know booking a trip is a little different from booking a class or a hotel room, so if you want to check anything before deciding, send me a message.

I'd love to have you along.
